Katina Douglas has served as the Art Teacher at Dunleith Elementary School for seven years, inspiring students to explore their creativity, build confidence, and discover the power of artistic expression. She is passionate about creating a classroom where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered to create. Douglas also serves as the Art Club Sponsor, giving students the chance to take their creativity beyond the classroom. This year marks her fourth year assisting with the Dunleith Ensemble, and she is especially proud that Art Club members contribute their talents by creating props, backdrops, and visual elements that help bring Ensemble performances to life. For Douglas, it is a privilege to nurture creativity, collaboration, and confidence in her students while helping them discover that their artistic voices can make an impact throughout the school community.
